Hi, I'm
Lynsie

I build small, hand made software for people who were told to just use a spreadsheet. I have six kids, a studio, a monthly gathering, and a truly unreasonable number of open tabs.

the whole deal, briefly

I got here completely sideways.

I spent years watching good businesses get handed the same website. A template, a monthly fee, and a login nobody ever used again. Meanwhile the actual work, the schedule that changes weekly, the menu on a whiteboard, the volunteer list buried in an inbox, stayed exactly where it was.

So I started building the other thing: one page, made for one business, holding the stuff they actually touch every day. Nobody gave me permission to start a company. I just kept building until it was one.

Five things with my name on them

Some are a business. Some started as a habit that got out of hand. All of them are things I show up for.

Speaking

I talk about building small things well, starting a company without a runway, and using AI without giving away the part that makes the work good.

The letter

What I built, what broke, what I charged and whether that was a mistake. Plus mood boards, things I am buying, and whatever I am yelling about in group chats. A couple times a month, never more.

Ask me anything

A project, a question, a coffee, a collaboration, a favor for your kid's team. This lands in my inbox and I answer all of it myself.

No wrong reason to use this.
